What happens if there is an enforced lockdown within the cancellation period?

CANCELLATIONS DUE TO GOVERNMENT MANDATED RESTRICTIONS DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC In event of guest being directly affected by an official, Government mandated border closure, hot spot restriction or lockdown that affects your travel plans for the dates you are booked to stay at the resort, and your stay is within 7 days of travel OR you receive a positive result for your required COVID test within 72 hours prior to travel you may be eligible for a replacement holiday to be taken within 12 months.   Any replacement holiday will be for a similar stay (same room type, length of stay, seasonality, number of guests) as the original booking.  

If you have contracted COVID, you must provide one of the following:  1) If confirmed by a PCR test, then the documentation from your state testing clinic must be provided or 2) if confirmed by a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT), then you must register this on your state government’s appropriate COVID RAT Test notification page and provide the official response from your lodgement.  Details of the date of your test and the specified isolation dates are included on this document and are the only acceptable means of proof of contracting the virus to be eligible for consideration of a replacement stay.  Without such evidence, a replacement stay cannot be considered.  Please note that the dates of isolation must coincide your stay to qualify for consideration of a replacement stay.

Should you wish to redeem your replacement stay with attributes different to the original booking, you may be able to do so however, additional costs may apply.  This will be advised at the time of reserving your replacement stay.  This offer applies only to officially announced Government closures/lockdowns/hot spots and proof of residency details will be required to confirm guests are directly affected by the Government restrictions.   Does not apply to any non-affected reservations – the terms and conditions of this offer will still apply if sufficient evidence cannot be provided. Due to the high volume of calls experienced when such announcements are made, we strongly encourage you to contact your agent or the resort directly to discuss your replacement reservation at the earliest opportunity after the announcement is made.  To ensure your request is received, we recommend you email the resort directly on to register your request. PLEASE NOTE ANY RESERVATION (WHETHER AFFECTED BY COVID RESTRICTIONS OR OTHERWISE) WILL INCUR OUR STANDARD NO-SHOW fee (full value of your accommodation) if the resort or your agent is not contacted to advise of your inability to stay until after the original check in date.
